Hi friends

I'm facing the problem in accessing sbcglobal mail a/c after updating Mac OS. So, please tell me how to fix the problem.

Hi Ariana
Use these steps :
Checking email account settings after getting Mac OS updated to the latest version :
1. For that, you can go to home screen and launch email app from the menu list.
2. From drop down menu, you will have to open preferences menu.
3. Open the problematic email, which could either be SBCGlobal email or Gmail.
4. Now, click on advanced menu followed by going to SBCGlobal email settings and then, check the box that says,automatic detect & configure email account settings.
5. If this option is already ticked, then you should untick it and tick it once again.
6. Now, you will have to use email from the app.
7. If you are experiencing issues in multiple email accounts, then the same process needs to be performed.

The process of relaunching and restarting is very frustrating, but it is going to fix the issue. This is due to the fact that there wont be any error in configuring the app manually. All things will be done by the email app automatically.
