In "Foundation" Asimov mentions that Seldon when found Psychohistory, it was a vague set of axioms. What do we have? A vague set of axioms. I believe that Asimov hoped for people to adopt his idea and foster it into a true science. Remember that Asimov was both a writer and a scientist.

I think Asimov himself was much more than a writer, he was a thinker. Even though he only wrote science fiction novels, he wrote about things that were much beyond his own time. Its almost like he envisioned different sciences in the future, like robotics and pscyhohistory and made them popular to the masses. |
