In Mexico, there is a crisis every 52 years, Why?
Hypothesis 1: The concentration of Power & Wealth will always grow, and always ends in a crises to redistribute them.
Hypothesis 2: War will always exist, until some sort of balance is attained between the poor and the wealthy.
In 1810, the Mexicans were faced by ambitious spaniards that wanted to bleed the country, so the only option was to declare Independence from Spain.
In 1862, the Mexicans were faced by the ambitious Catholic Church, that allied to the Conservative Party was bleeding Society, so Benito Juarez started the Reform Wars to stop the Castholic Church.
In 1910, the Mexicans were faced by the ambitions of a Dictatorship in the hands of Porfirio Diaz, so the Mexican society started the Mexican Revolution.
In 1968, the Mexicans were bleed by the ambitions of the PRI (Revolutionary Institutions Party) that remained in power many years (hidden behind a "non reelection" law but just changing the leaders every 6 years), so the Mexican Society revolted, in the 1968 crisis, bringing into power President Luis Echeverria, which was a Socialist, friend of salvador Allende of Chile, which brought drastic changes into the PRI.
In 2012, the Mexican Society, tired of the impunity and corruption of politicians, (even after PRI lost power in the hands of the PAN (National Action Party), which resulted worse corrupts (Fox & his wife, has done a quite visible scandal), will do something, either elect a social christian President (in the sense of social-christianism used in the Union of Europa.

Very interesting, especially since the world's supposed to end 2012.

I believe that your hypotheses are both accurate and relevant to psychohistory. Did you come up with the Mexican politics theory/prediction?

I do not fully agree with the motive "tired of the impunity and corruption of politicians" US people have a fixed idea of the mexican Politician: a crook. It goes beyond Mexico and politicians.
Impunity: the lack of law enforcement, from common thives, kidnappers, narcos, abusive police, politicians, distinguished bussinesman, even US Goverment Functionaries (ilegal arms traffic to Mex) have converged to produce a very unstable situation. The result? Hypothesis No. 1, but now, the human is looking for universal prosperety, not only power and possessions.
Change is unstoppable, we pray for a paceful one.
